Renters Insurance

The Renters Insurance Policy covers you if you are currently renting where you live. This relatively inexpensive rental insurance policy will pay to replace your personal property (your clothes and couch, appliances and TV, etc) in the event of a fire or other covered accident.

The Renters Policy also offers coverage for Liability and Medical Expenses; this protects you if someone gets hurt on your property and needs medical attention, or even if they sue you. An example of this coverage would be if you would cause a fire that would burn down your apartment and that of 3 of your neighbors. They can and probably would sue you. This coverage would pick up and pay those costs.

The policy also includes extra features, such as coverage to pay for your additional living expenses while your property would be rebuilt after a fire.
